Obadiah Gonzalez, a soldier in the Nahal Brigade reconnaissance unit, committed suicide. Obadiah came from Venezuela several years ago and joined the army in 2017. Suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after participating in killings during the Gaza Strip massacres and ethnic cleansing, yesterday he decided to end his suffering and committed suicide. He will not be given a military funeral due to suicide and will not be considered dead by the army.
