A whole year and famine did not have mercy on us, it ravaged our emaciated bodies, and the journey of searching for a livelihood exhausted us, and we lost our mental and physical health with it.. A whole year in which massacres were repeated hundreds Times, families were torn between North and South, we lost many of our loved ones and friends, and our lives became suspended by a thin thread between certain death and impossible survival.. A whole year and we are losing children, women, elderly and young people every day.. A whole year and we are losing a lot of ourselves to the point that we forgot what our previous life was like.. A whole year and we are searching among the rubble of our destroyed homes for our scattered remains and the remains of our loved ones.. A whole year and we are sacrificing our lives for the homeland to which we belong only, a homeland that has become torn and destroyed.. A whole year and we are struggling with despair, and searching for a small glimmer of hope that we might escape this nightmare.. A whole year and we are living an unprecedented human tragedy, the largest holocaust and genocide recorded in history, committed in front of the eyes and ears of the entire world without any movement or intervention worth mentioning.. A whole year of betrayal and collusion, Arab governments and leaders participated in Our extermination, and our cries were ignored, and crimes committed against us were ignored.. A whole year of successive massacres, starting with the Baptist massacre and reaching countless massacres, that have not stopped until this moment..
