This will protect you from going blind and suffering severe burns from the thermal radiation and lung rupture from the blast wave. Do not attempt approach the area below the epicenter or the radiation will kill you. Cover your skin, your mouth and your nose to protect you from the fallout and try to get away. Preferably in the direction the wind is coming from but do not approach the epicenter.
